Why “Beer” rather than “Ale”?
Just to be different.
We had a holiday in Wales a while ago and I noticed the word Cwrw in lots of the
pubs, it means Beer.
So why not?
I started brewing in the early 1980’s, as an antidote to working in the money markets. We moved to Holt in 1988 and
openrd our eponymous restaurant. After about 15 years there I dusted off my kit
and started again, soon after that I built the current brewery, where I have
been making beer since 2007.
